With the unreliability and expense of overseas telephone calls, we conducted business by telex using the U.S. Consulate as one terminal and a business telex in New Jersey belonging to one of our supporters as the other.
Soon we would be in need of money and supplies to deal with the unexpected catches of coelacanths.
Chief of the Consulate, Edward Brynn, wrote us a letter of export for the frozen fish.
The expedition had more than fulfilled it's objectives.
